One of her main goals this month was to fix her sleep patterns she messed up a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, there’s still no luck about it. She still lives one of those nocturnal creatures’ lifestyles and she’s most active during the night while spending the entire day sleeping.

If she was honest, she doesn’t really have a problem with a reversed sleep schedule like that because she managed to still be productive; like writing, workouts, finishing chores, praying, reading, even spending time with her loved ones. And by the time the clock struck 9 AM, she’d ready to call it a day.

However, she started to notice that her body began reacting badly to sunlight. Just a little sun beam streaming into her room was enough to cause her vision blurry and terrible headaches. One morning, when she stepped out looking for her cats at the backyard around 11, as the sun was directly above her, the sun made her skin feel like it was burning. The same pain as Sasuke might have felt when Orochimaru’s cursed mark took over his body, she thought.

She started to worry about her sight as well. Bright screens really hurt her eyes, so she had to keep her phone’s brightness very, very low. A cashier guy once made a comment about that as he struggled to scan the barcode on her phone.

Aside from those concerning changes of her body, there are some good things that happened to her this month. One of them was re-watching her favorite Anime all of time: Naruto Shippuden. And by the end of May, she had finished over 150 episodes.

She also reconnected with an old high school friend she hadn’t spoken to in a long time. And another special moment was celebrating her first anniversary with her partner. It was a magical milestone, that also came with a bit of worry after she learned that her partner was about to leave for a month-long training, and they wouldn’t be able to talk much during that time.

Even though the idea of being apart made her anxious, she remained hopeful the time would pass quickly and smoothly for both of them.
