What A Life

With April just a few hours away, I figured it was time for a monthly recap. March flew by way too fast, and somehow, I ended up with more stories than usual.

Unlike last month when I binged all six Resident Evil movies (including the one without Alice: Welcome to Racoon City), I didn't watch a single movie in April. I was curious about Ryan Gosling's new film, The Fall Guy, but for some reason, I found it more hard to sit still and watch anything. Lately, I've been way more into getting lost in productive stuff, like doing high school worksheets onine or messing around with Python. Weird, I know.

April was... a lot. Emotionally, I mean. I cried more than I'd like to admit. Sometimes because I was sad, sometimes because I was too happy or just plain anxious. Like, even the smallest things could set me off: a scene from Naruto, a delayed package, or spotting a new pimple first thing in the morning. All fair reasons, honestly.

There were also some arguments with my partner that left me feeling really down. I've never been one to enjoy arguing, especially not with him. But I'm thankful for his patience and how, no matter what, we always manage to fix things.

Looking to where I am now, I think my younger self would be surprised to know I don't have to leave my room to work long hours anymore. I have everything I need. It's crazy how lucky I am. Bet most people would give anything to have my life.

BTW, I've got a new little boss in the house, mum found yet another kitten on the street and brought it home.
